My Vision
Future Sustainability
Shifting focus
We need to be thinking of less and not more, which is a much easier path to manage and will result in a manageable future.
The economic benefits are huge and can be channeled into ensuring that we have a planet worth bringing future generations into, so that they know they have a balanced, secure future where family life can be enjoyed. We do not have to go through pain to get there, we just have to manage the change in thinking.
Instead of spending billions of dollars around the world to try and manage climate change, reducing the world’s population would have a much longer lasting effect, at a fraction of the cost, improving quality of life at the same time.
Will this be simple? - no.
Affordable? - very and a great deal more affordable than the alternatives.
Necessary? - There is no sustainable alternative for the planet.
Reduction in key areas
Savings of funds used to deal with problems associated with climate change.
Less dirty power station builds (focus shifting to affordable, sustainable and renewable energy).
Scaling back of large infrastructure projects such as hospitals, airports, roads, dams etc. (shifting focus to upgrades of existing infrastructure).
Changes to influence savings
Gradually reduce the requirement for individual State governments.
Enlarge and restructure local councils to manage more services for the federal government.
Federal government to be responsible for all major services.
Overarching Benefits
Managing an ageing population
Full employment
Far fewer people going hungry worldwide with aid being redirected to sustainable projects
A chance for the environment to recover for the long term benefit of all
No population pressures worldwide
Huge savings on government expenditure which can be re-directed towards a properly managed future
Managing our resources for the long term.
Education starts at home, as soon as we are able to understand our needs such as asking for food as a baby or communicating our other needs.
