Covid 19 - Nature Fighting Back?
A chance for change
If there was ever a time in the history of the world to make changes to the way we live, this maybe our last chance to do so.
For the last fifty or so years we have been living in a fools’ paradise.
Not only have the governments been borrowing in the mistaken belief that they are creating jobs and being seen to be doing the right thing by the economy, but individuals and businesses have any many cases gone in to debt in the belief that it will create more wealth for themselves. In some instances this has been true, but many have fallen by the wayside, caught up in the reality. Who are suffering the most? As usual, the poor and needy.
If Covid 19 has taught us anything, it is that we live in a fragile world.
Listening to nature
We are not listening to the vast majority of the world’s population needs. We are not listening to nature and nature is indeed fighting back.
If we do not take this opportunity to start making radical changes to the way we do things, we are not listening but will continue in a downward spiral.
The proposals in world sustainable vision, would go a long way to halting this downward spiral, but we must act now, not continue borrowing and hoping for the best.
